    How well does the product perform its intended purpose?
  • Plain Awesomeness
    Is it cool? Are you wowed? Do you want to show your friends?
  • Creativity
    Is the project an out-of-the-box solution to a problem? Does the project build an existing product in a different way? How unique is it?
  • Use of Hardware
    Is the project predominantly hardware? Is hardware a necessary component of it?
  • Usability (Bonus!)
    Is the project designed well? Is it safe, and easy to use?
